Paul Timothy Fanta, M.D., M.S.
Hematology/Oncology
Cancer - Gastrointestinal
Cancer

The diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal cancers has dramatically changed in the past several years. By incorporating biotechnology, bioinformatics, molecular analyses, pharmocogenomic data, in the setting of prospective clinical trials, we may better indentify patients who will benefit from chemotherapy, avoiding toxicities from treatment, and develop a predictive therapeutic strategy unique to a patient's disease.
