Dr. Lee specializes in degenerative spinal disease (lumbar stenosis, herniated disk, cervical myelopathy, neck pain, back pain), adult spinal deformity (scoliosis, kyphosis), and also minimally invasive spine surgery (kyphoplasty, minimally invasive fusion, X-STOP). He assisted on the first disc replacement performed at the Cleveland Clinic and also performed the first X-STOPs at UCSD.
