I feel that my responsibilty, as a provider of care to pregnant women, is to provide information that will help them to make decisions.
Mothers make all sorts of decisions for their families. Some decisions will seem obviously "yes" or "no," and others will involve more consideration. As your midwife, I want to assure you that you will make the right decisions for yourself and your family. Your body knew how to get pregnant; it will know how to give birth; it will know how to breastfeed your baby; and you will know how to be a good mother. I promise.
