Mounir Soliman, M.D.

Dr. Mounir Soliman is the Clinical Service Chief of the Department of Psychiatry. He also serves as the medical director of the UCSD Psychopharmacology Research Initiatives Center of Excellence (PRICE). Dr. Soliman is interested in clinical research, teaching and medical administration.
Dr. Soliman's research is focused on a variety of projects, mainly clinical psychopharmacology for schizophrenia and mood disorder. He serves as the primary PI on several clinical trials.
Dr. Soliman’s clinical practice includes direct patient care at UCSD outpatient clinics. He is also the medical consultant for the UCSD Physician Assessment and Clinical Education (PACE).
