A board certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Meunier is fellowship trained and certified in hand surgery, an added qualification requiring an additional year of training in hand surgery and successful completion of written examination. Along with holding this Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery (CAQ), Dr. Meunier has added training and interest in the medical and surgical treatment of the elbow and shoulder offering management of isolated hand, elbow or shoulder injuries and disorders as well diagnoses that require a comprehensive view of the function and treatment of the entire upper extremity.
Dr. Meunier joined the faculty of the UCSD Department of Orthopedic Surgery in 2000 and is Fellowship Director of the Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship.
