Dr. Perricone is Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery with UCSD Medical Center. He completed his residency at UCSD Medical Center and has practiced in San Diego since 1992.
Dr. Perricone's clinical interests include adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, tumors of the lung and mediastinum, video assisted thoracoscopic techniques applied to thoracic and cardiac surgery, and treatment of hyperhidroses.

In addition, he is an expert in lung surgery for cancer, performs thoracoscopic surgery and has developed a special technique for the treatment of hyperhidrosis.
