Dr. Mark Wallace is the Program Director of UCSD Center for Pain Medicine. The Center for Pain Medicine is actively involved in clinical care, teaching and research. Dr. Wallace has extensive experience in all aspects of pain management. He is involved in numerous ongoing clinical trials for the management of pain, including acute, chronic and cancer-related pain.
Dr. Wallace was given the Award for Excellence in Clinical Care at UCSD in 2002. He is the chair of the A committee of the UCSD Human Subjects Committee and Associate Editor for the Clinical Journal of Pain. He has extensively published in the field of pain medicine. He is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
